Prekindergarten Graduate

Our little man is just wrapping up his first year of school. His school hosted a prekindergarten graduation ceremony on Monday. I had such a hard time deciding whether to send Gavin off to school, but I'm 100% confident that it was the best decision. He has learned so much and established great social skills that will help him when he begins kindergarten in the fall. He can write his letters and numbers and has surprised us with interesting lessons about dinosaurs, bees, and other subjects he's learned about. I love seeing his eyes light up when he can tell he's impressed us. He's a willful little man and tries our patience on a daily basis. Age 4, specifically 4 1/2, has been been tough for me. With any age, I typically say things get easier and harder at the same time. He's growing up so fast and just has opinions like the rest of us. At the end of the day, he's a great kid and we love watching him develop into his own little person. Here are a few pictures from his graduation.
